My path to Cadence Painting wasn't a straight line - structural engineering, a decade in construction, then flipping houses as a real estate investor. Working alongside painters on my own properties I kept noticing the same gap - the technical skill was there, but the professionalism and consistency rarely was. I knew there was a better way.

So I built it.

'Cadence' comes from music - I've played guitar and piano my whole life and in music, cadence is the steady consistent rhythm. I brought that mentality to this company. Mid Century Modern Bungalow - Luxury Update

This 1969 mid-century bungalow hadn't been refreshed since the 1970s. The goal was to transform the space while honouring its original character.

A pure white finish was selected to freshen up the existing elements and blend them with the new renovations - but the original dark yellow and brown walls presented a real challenge. Extensive surface preparation and multiple coats were required to achieve the clean, bright finish the homeowners envisioned. We also refinished and stained the existing wood elements to complement the newly renovated walnut kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

Proper preparation and quality materials can completely transform a dated space while preserving its architectural character. This project is a perfect example of that.
